If you'd like to talk, let's connect on LinkedIn!Or, please continue below for a bit more on my background...Today, my day job is working as a Sr. Solution Architect within AWS's Startup Strategic Pursuits team, which is a small group of experienced Solution Architects and Business Development Advisors who act as an overlay to help hyperscale, lighthouse, and Tier 1 VC-backed startups be successful on AWS.Since 2018, I have worked almost exclusively as an AWS Solution Architect, with four years at AWS itself, and two years split between Apple's internal cloud services team and ReleaseHub, a Series A, Sequoia and YC-backed DevOps-as-a-Service SaaS. I found my calling in cloud when, in 2017, I volunteered to help lead my team's migration of a few terabytes of data from Oracle to Amazon Redshift.Before cloud, my first career could be described as a finance technologist, comprised four years in IT & Financial Audit at Ernst & Young (IT controls, SOX, SOC2, 10K), a nearly two-year project acting as a department lead for a JDE migration at a subsidiary of C.R. Bard, and a year automating and streamlining a pre-existing manual, Excel-based clinical trial enrollment and revenue forecasting process by utilizing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
